What Is Louisiana’s Top Beer Brand?

What Beer Brand Do Louisiana Residents Prefer Most?

Overall, the top beer brands in Louisiana are Modelo Especial (32 search interest score), Michelob (15 search interest score), Bud Light (9 search interest score), Busch Light (6 search interest score) and Corona (4 search interest score).  

Of the five, Bud Light, Busch Light and Michelob are all brewed by Anheuser Busch, which is the wholly-owned St. Louis based subsidiary of AB InBev, which is based in Leuven, Belgium.  

The other two are made by Grupo Modelo of Mexico City (Modelo Especial and Corona), with the former surpassing Bud Light as the top selling beer in America in 2023.  

Regardless of which style of beer is your go-to, it seems certain that millions of Louisiana residents will go to their fridge and pull out their suds of choice come April 7, in honor of America’s ever-growing love affair with the bubbly beverage.
