Pelicans NBA Championship Odds
The Pels' championship odds are long at +150000 at bet365. Other Louisiana betting apps have New Orleans sitting near the bottom of the futures market as well, with DraftKings posting them at +200000. Regardless of the sportsbook, the Pelicans remain long shots across the board.
Pelicans Western Conference Odds
The Pelicans' Western Conference odds are +100000 at DraftKings, giving them a 0.1% chance. The New Orleans Pelicans are expected to have a difficult season, with many predicting a gloomy outcome due to their poor start and the struggles they faced last year. New Orleans has lost eight of their last ten games.
Pelicans Playoff Chances
Similar to their other futures odds, the Pelicans' odds to make the playoffs aren’t promising. With just four wins, New Orleans has a +5500 line to make the Play-In, a slim 1.8% chance. These odds will shift throughout the season, but the Pelicans have plenty of time to turn their season around and improve these odds.

Where Can I Bet on the Pelicans?
If you’re at least 21 and in a state where sports betting is legal, you can bet on the Pelicans through both online and retail sportsbooks. Louisiana approved sports betting in November 2020, with retail sportsbooks launching in October 2021 and mobile wagering going live on January 15, 2022.
Pelicans Betting Promos
Currently, there are no new user Louisiana betting promos specifically for the Pelicans. But any of the sign up bonuses can be used to bet on the Pelicans and most operators will have ongoing promos to take advantage of, especially during the playoffs. Pels fans can expect to find odds boosts, parlay boosts, and no sweat bet offers throughout the NBA season.

Pelicans Playoff History
In their 23-season history, the Pelicans have struggled to find postseason success. They’ve made the playoffs eight times but advanced past the first round only twice, and in both cases, their runs ended in the conference semifinals.
Have the Pelicans Ever Won Their Division?
The Pelicans have captured a division title just once, during the 2007–08 season. Last year, they finished with the Western Conference’s worst record, missing the playoffs after making a postseason run the year before. New Orleans is once again near the bottom of the conference this season.
Pelicans Odds FAQ
The New Orleans Pelicans are not in the playoffs because we are only in December and there is plenty of season left. But most sportsbooks don’t have much faith in the Pelicans, with +5500 odds at FanDuel giving them just a 1.8% chance to make the Play-In.
The Pelicans have some of the longest odds to win the NBA Championship, with +200000 odds at DraftKings sportsbooks. This gives New Orleans a slim 0.1% chance to win it all this year. These odds will fluctuate throughout the season.
The Pelicans currently are in 15th place in the Western Conference. New Orleans has stumbled out of the gate with a 4–22 record, hampered by injuries and a weak third-quarter defense. After posting the worst record in the conference last season, the Pelicans look to have another difficult season.
